Rio Grande in the summer is just the most lovely location in Albuquerque for family pictures. This evening with the Solomon family was just perfect. The monsoon rains were stayed off and the sun kissed each images with gold. The water of the river created such a feeling of play and freedom. We all had the best time frolicking in the Bosque and Rio Grande.

Albuquerque in the summer transforms itself. As the weather warms a green vein of Cottonwood trees cut through the valley. The grasses along the water bud and fresh leaves emerge. Playing along the banks, sand between your toes, creates a relaxed and playful nature for each and every family shoot. The Rio Grand in the summer should be a shoot for each and every Albuquerque family.
