When it is time to move on from Albuquerque but you want something to remember it by doing a Sunset Sandia Foothills Photoshoot couldn’t be more memorable. The Jepson’s had lived here in New Mexico for quite a few years, but jobs changed. The change required moving out of state. Even though the Jepson’s weren’t born and raised in Albuquerque, during their time here they fell in love with the city. Doing a family photo shoot in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains seemed like the perfect way to say goodbye.
This location in the foothills of east Albuquerque is a favorite. There are so many looks that can be achieved in this one spot. Depending of the time of year, time of day, cloudy or full sun, each family photo shoot can have a totally different look. For the Jepson’s pictures the New Mexico sun was out and blasting. We hide behind Juniper trees and got some sweet, intimate shots until the sun dropped low in the sky. As it did the Sandia mountain changed from blue to pink. The watermelon mountains put on the perfect show for this family’s farewell pictures.
