One of the best locations is a greenhouse for family pictures. Especially if it is the dead of winter and you don’t want that winter wonderland look. Or freeze your butt off as well! Taking family pictures inside a greenhouse is a warm, fresh change from the cold, brown landscape that New Mexico offers. All the lush green plants create such color and texture in each image. Also, the warm sun filtering through the greenhouse windows creates such a pretty glow.
The Bergsten family has been with me since the very, very beginning of my photographic journey. I have taken pictures of these adorable kiddos for years. It is so fun to be able to take pictures of families year after year and see how much they have grown. I remember with this young man was just a little ball of energy with so much to say. Now he is too cool for pictures, LOL! And little merry miss was so much fun to work with. Not a baby anymore. She now dominates the flow of attention with her cute voice and tiny giggles. Just a fun and beautiful family to photograph inside a botanical paradise greenhouse.
Taking the Bergsten’s family pictures inside the Osuna Nursery greenhouse was a tropical paradise right here in the deserts of Albuquerque. I love that taking pictures with your family has no rules. If you can dream it, let’s do it! When I asked Mama B. where she wanted to photographer her babies this year, she asked if the Osuna Nursery was a possibility. I responded with a “Heck Yes!” I had shot there once before. Osuna is a local nursery that has such a lovely variety of botanicals. They were fanatisic to work with and I am so grateful for the small business community of support here in Albuquerque.
